WINTER OF DISCO CONTENT 2: HEATERS ONLY is the sequel Castlemaine deserves. If it ain't broke...

After a SOLD OUT show last year we're bringing the same scorching hot DJs to bring the boom boom to Boomtown: Joey Lightbulb, Jen Moore and Pearl.

We're making three subtle changes:

- Bigger capacity 250 (up from 200)

- Bigger sound system

- Bigger heaters (both literally and musically)

DJ Joey Lightbulb (Mikey Cahill) lit up Golden Plains in 2024/25 and leveled up with no less than six (!) SOLD OUT shows at The Night Cat in Fitzroy (3600 tickets). Later in the year he's heading to Darwin Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival and nationally as A Day On the Green's official DJ but first he's teaming up with his bosom buddies Jen Moore and Pearl. Lightbulb will throw down jacking funk, disco edits, indie ankle-breakers, funky techno and maybe some drum'n'bass if the party calls for it.

Jen Moore is Castlemainiac's favourite maniac. Everyone wants her on their bill and recently she smashed out sets for Giddy Up at Theatre Royal, won Castlemaine Idyll at Lot 19, stole the show in Castlemaine The Musical and sang for Tek Tek Ensemble. Busy much? She is the name on everyone's hips. Why?

Because she makes people dance with leftfield disco, house and bass selections, always choosing the right song for the moment. We are honored she made a wedge in her busy GCal to join us again and punch out bangers like Roki paws at pull cords.

Pearl aka Clam Dirt Ya Big Flirt is back with her booty bass bangers and no ass is safe. She's been thriving with her solo project (new album Dream Body is imminent!) and might hit us with heaters from Peggy Gou, Gloria Jones, Lil Kim, Inner City, Green Velvet, Afrika Bambaataa and Deelite. Book in for an osteo appointment July 13 just to be safe.
