Wiccid and Gray Witch Supply Company have co-created a festival to celebrate the Winter Solstice:
Winters Deep – A Gathering of Heathens
June 22nd – 23rd 2024
9am Saturday – 1pm Sunday
Imbil Deer Sanctuary
This festival runs for 1 full day (Saturday) and 1 half day (Sunday) and is a journey back in time to connect with the olde ways through our Pagan Ancestors. There will be activities, feasting, ritual, workshops, talks, games, drumming and even a few stalls where you'll be able to stock up on your magickal supplies.
Included in your ticket is the following:Â

- Lunch and Banquet Dinner Saturday,
- Drumming Circle, Ritual and Bonfire Saturday night
- 2 Workshops and 2 talks
- Bonfire Building, Preparing the Feast & decorating the Yule log
- StallsÂ
Full admission ticket inclusions:
- Camping for 1 or 2Â nights
- Lunch and Banquet Dinner Saturday, Breakfast and a light lunch Sunday
- Drumming Circle, Ritual and Bonfire Saturday night
- 2 Workshops and 3 talks
- Bonfire Building, Preparing the Feast & decorating the Yule log
- Highland games Sunday morning
Aside from the 2 workshops and talks included in your ticket price, you have the opportunity to book additional workshops covering such subjects as:
- Divination
- Magick
- Symbology
- The Wheel of the Year
- Crafting
- Cooking
Set in a stunning location on the Sunshine Coast with grassy areas, a running creek and beautiful animals that roam on site (deers and goats in a separate area) - The whole festival will be rustic and as authentic as possible so no electricity or mod cons unless needed structurally (lighting for example). There will be communal meeting spaces for eating, workshops and ritual with plenty of space to just relax and enjoy the vibe.
Accommodation is camping (bring your own gear) with port a loos close by + good amenities a bit down the road in the complex including showers, a huge camp kitchen and a shop.Â
We will be arriving and beginning set up on the Friday morning. Your ticket price is for 1 nights camping covering Saturday evening, but if you prefer to come Friday night to set up earlier you are most welcome – Admission will be from 3pm and you will just be charged an additional nights camping. If staying Friday night you are asked to bring your own dinner. Also please note that there are no activities planned for the Friday night - the festival begins Saturday morning.

Throughout the day there will be 3 talks and 3 workshops with the other all day activities listed running in the background.
12.30pm lunch
6.30pm Ritual
7.30pm Feast
8.30pm Drumming circle and bonfire
Sunday:
8am Breakfast
Throughout the morning there will be 2 workshops and maybe 2 talks with other listed all day activities going in the background
12.30pm Lunch
1.30pm Closing ceremony
Everyone (attendees) to leave by 3pm
PLEASE NOTE:Â
Children are permitted from age 8 and up to 14 years will be charged child admission.Â
CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES.
This festival will have journeys, meditations and ritual woven through it where quiet may be required and due reverence is expected to be observed. Unruly and unsupervised children and their parents will be asked to leave the ritual/workshop spaces.Â
