Enjoy an unforgettable evening of timeless music as local performer Chris Herden takes the stage for the Redlands Coast Museum’s Winter Showcase.

Chris delivers a smooth and stylish croon concert featuring classy renditions of songs made famous by legendary artists including Roy Orbison, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Matt Monro and Glen Campbell. This special performance is a soulful celebration of timeless pop hits and heartfelt ballads from the golden era of the 1960s & 70s, sure to spark fond memories and have audiences singing along.

This lively concert celebrates iconic music of the era, featuring a mix of timeless classics and audience favourites. The show includes songs from the Vietnam War era, with the second half lifting the tempo, beginning with the powerful anthem We Gotta Get Out of This Place, before rolling into beloved favourites such as Green, Green Grass of Home and Ring of Fire.

Chris has toured throughout Queensland and New South Wales in Good Morning Vietnam – Music from the Vietnam War Era and is currently performing across the region in The Best of Bacharach & Hal David.

A true crossover vocalist, Chris’s career spans musical theatre, rock, pop, jazz and operetta. From semi-finalist in the Metropolitan Aria Competition to opening for UK heavy rock band Motörhead, his remarkable range and experience bring energy and authenticity to every performance.

Proudly a local Redlander, Chris will bring the house down in this special one-night showcase, celebrating the unforgettable sounds of the golden era of the 1960's & 70's.

There will be a 20 min interval where you can purchase wine, beer, soft drink or tea/coffee.
