Winter Session - Gender
Event description
During August, we are holding a series of ‘Winter Sessions’. We will have guest speakers helping us explore further what the bible says on some of the topics we’ve been looking at on Sundays – Work, Gender, Sex.
All are welcome to attend these sessions.
Winter Sessions will be held in the Performing Arts Centre at Inaburra School, 77 Billa Rd, Bangor. Sessions will run from 7.30pm to 9pm each evening they are on and will also be livestreamed.
This Winter Session is on 'Gender' with guest speaker Dr Andrew Sloane. You can read more about Andrew here:

Rev. Dr Andrew Sloane is Lecturer in Old Testament and Christian Thought, and Director of Postgraduate Studies at Morling College. He studied medicine at the University of New South Wales and practiced briefly as a doctor before training for Baptist ministry at Morling, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Theology and a ThD in philosophy and Old Testament studies.
He has a particular interest in gender, sex and identity - partly because of how these topics intersect in the context of his previous training in medicine and his current work in theology.
