Winter Session - Sex

During August, we are holding a series of ‘Winter Sessions’. We will have guest speakers helping us explore further what the bible says on some of the topics we’ve been looking at on Sundays – Work, Gender, Sex. 

All are welcome to attend these sessions.

Winter Sessions will be held in the Performing Arts Centre at Inaburra School, 77 Billa Rd, Bangor. Sessions will run from 7.30pm to 9pm each evening they are on and will also be livestreamed.

Dr Weerakoon is a sexologist, sex educator and writer. She trained in medicine at the University of Sri Lanka and did her postgraduate study in sexology at the University of Hawaii.

Dr Weerakoon retired in 2011 after a 22-year career as an academic at the University of Sydney. She also spent the last 8 years of her time as an academic, as director of an internationally recognised postgraduate program in sexual health.

Since retirement, Dr Weerakoon has followed her passion to educate people of all ages on good holistic sexual health by speaking and writing in the area from a Christ-focussed, biblical framework.
