The winter solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year. Fire and light are traditional symbols of celebrations held on the darkest day of the year.

We have combined these elements into our ceremony, helping to connect with your light and fire within.

The winter solstice is the day of the year with the fewest hours of daylight, and it marks the start of astronomical winter.
This important day has also been known to celebrate Earth's regeneration or rebirth and the sun's rebirth.

This is a great time to feel a sense of traction and success, showing awareness of what you’ve strived towards – not only your career and vocation but the principles you uphold through the work you do and how you come across.

About the hosts: Deb & Denise

Deb is a Yoga teacher, a free spirit who likes to play Tibetan healing bowls...Yoga came into her life in 2010 when she was living in London, a new revolution in her life! Today, counting 10 years of Yoga practice...teaching it's a true vocation and she has made of it her profession. Deb has completed her Yoga Teacher Training & Ayurveda Basic principles with Ayurveda massages & therapies in India. Today Deb's teaching yoga and mindfulness and helping people to have a grounded and balanced life in Sydney CBD and in Vaucluse. Currently taking a second Yoga teacher certification to better serve you.

Denise is a Chilean Energetic Healer and Architect, who has been curious about symbols and spirituality since adolescence. She was initiated in Reiki in 2011 in a moment of huge stress, which opened the door to study different energetic healing techniques to improve her life. This personal journey matured to the point that in 2017 she started attending clients and has been running workshops and ceremonies with other healers until now. Now she is integrating the tradition of the European Master Builders through the Energetic Geometry into her healing work in Sydney and overseas.

Participants: 25 Open women & men who are reconnecting with their inner world and feel curious about yoga, meditation, oracles and personal spiritual growth in general.

If you have a journal that you using please feel free to bring it along, if not we will provide pens and paper.

IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTES

Please DO NOT CONSUME CAFFEINE OR ALCOHOL at least 3 hours prior to the event and after the event. Cacao is a plant medicine and will detoxify your body, also can increase your heartbeat, for safety and enjoyment please follow the advice.

Please advise the host if you have any of the following:

1.Taking Antidepressants with MAOIs contraindicated with cacao and can lead to severe headaches, please advise for a lower dose.

2. Serious heart conditions. The theobromine in cacao increases heart rate significantly and is a vasodilator, lowering blood pressure. If you have such a condition, consider consulting a physician and certainly go lighter on amounts.

3. Pregnancy & breastfeeding. Like coffee or tea, it is important to reduce the intake of stimulating foods. The theobromine in cacao, which is very similar to caffeine, has a stimulating effect. Please advise for a lower dose.

Lastly, the room has an a/c but if you feel extra cold normally, we suggest bringing a small blanket:-)
