Winter Solstice Ecstatic Dance

The Winter Solstice is a celebration of the longest evening of the year. An opportunity to meet the self, contemplate the year that’s been, set intentions for the year to come, let it all go by moving any stagnation in the mind and body. 

We’ll dance to a progressive set, be held by a roaring fire, whilst surrounded by like-minded community. 

At Elysium, we gather to do this through the RITE of DANCE! 

We warm you to the space with a few facilitated movement and embodiment invitations, before you enter into a two hour solo dance journey. 

We’ll end the night with an opportunity to break bread, share in a hearty winter soup and connect in conversation with each other.

The evening will be alcohol free (but we’ll supply you with a hawt cacoa 🔥) and different to your generic ecstatic dance as we move through a number of musical genres including bass and psychedelic trance. A little harder than your average conscious event.

This event will be hosted by Heidi Knight, Choreographer of the Elysium Opening Ceremony in 2022, and core troupe member of Eclectica. 
Music will be composed by Nawaf Alalawi aka SHANTARAM.
