Winter Solstice Ecstatic Dance Murwillumbah

WINTER SOLSTICE ECSTATIC DANCE 21ST JUNE 

So excited to share that we are going to be coming together in dance, celebration, community and prayer this Full Moon Winter Solstice, the 21st of June at the gorgeous fresh space of The Stables. 

The Stables is Murwillumbahs exquisite new hub for the community, nestled on Cane Rd amongst the trees, flowers and sugar cane. 

Always paying respects to this country we live on  - Bundjalung Nation for the absolute privilege to dance on this blessed land. Sovereignty was never ceded. 

EVENING TIMINGS 

This event will be a special one, with the flow going as follows: 
7pm doors open

7:10 - opening circle : acknowledgment to country, guided drop in along with a special cacao ceremony

7:30 - movement begins with guidance from Hannah (exploration of movement ranges and contact dance) 

7:45 - 8:45 - ECSTATIC DANCE with THE BASS FAIRY 

We will close with grounding into earth, and ending with circle. 

Come one, come all. This is a time where we as a community are being shown the power of when we choose to love, to dance, to express our authentic nature. Everyone is welcome, whether seasoned ecstatic dancers or completely new to the practice.

Comfy clothes for dancing

Cosy fluffies and warm rugs for when we are sitting or in shavasana (the space is open to the elements)

Water

A mug for cacao 

An open heart 


Tickets are $25 online and will be $30 at the door.
