On Saturday 17th June 2023 we are hosting a Winter Solstice Festival at Camperdown Commons. Part fundraiser, part winter solstice celebration and ALL things farm!

Join us at Camperdown Commons: family-friendly festivities for:

Welcome to country and smoking ceremony (12pm)
Workshops
Farm tours
Market Stalls
Games out on the farm for kids
Lantern making and lantern parade around the farm at 5pm
Live entertainment

LOCAL FOOD • COMMUNITY • EDUCATION Pocket City Farms is a ¼ acre urban market garden in Camperdown, Sydney, NSW - and the first urban farm of its kind in Australia. Opened in June 2016 the farm is a community hub where you can visit the productive ecological farm, pick up chemical-free produce, get your hands dirty volunteering, take part in our composting and food forest programs, attend a range of workshops, events, and yoga classes, hire out community spaces, and bring your school, corporate or community group for a tour, talk or workshop. Importantly, the farm is a place to visit, enjoy productive green space in the city, dig your hands in the soil, and connect with and learn how food is grown.
