Winter Solstice Journey with Great Bear - 5Rhythms dance, sacred meditation, art
Event description
IN PERSON - LIVE!
We meet at the lead up to the Winter Solstice to journey with Great Bear!
Giving us a moment in the mystery to rest and reflect.
Come join Sue Andersen & Jo Rockendorfer to journey into the sacred depths of Winter Dreaming to
Dance... Meditate... Create...
As the pendulum of light and dark widens, we sit in rest and reflection and reach our innermost still point. We call in the ancient and wise Bear to help us more deeply align to our truth.
Ancient legends speak of a time when people shared caves with their bear relatives. With bear you can travel to the dark regions where people are most afraid to go.
Bear symbolises introspection and intuition blended with instinct and the awakening of the strong force of the unconscious. The strength of bear medicine is the power to restore harmony and balance – to heal. The Bear Spirit is known to many cultures as the Great Healer. We will lead you into a Winter Solstice journey through 5Rhythms dance, sacred mediation and art. Open to healing with the archetype of Bear and through collage, divine your journey over the winter months till we meet again at the Spring Equinox.

A little about Jo Rockendorfer:
Jo's career as a Teacher, Facilitator, Transpersonal Counsellor and Art Therapist has led her to be able to work with her passions. These include guiding individuals and groups to move through life's transitions and inspiring people to tell their story. Jo is also passionate about empowering people to live to their fullest potential and see the best in themselves.
A little about Sue Andersen:
Sue has been practicing Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms since 2008 and completed her teacher training early in 2016. She is excited to share the 5rhythms Wave map, supporting people to return again and again to their bodies, to explore and express their unique dance and to discover the freedom and aliveness that comes when we surrender our minds to our feet, to the dance.
Jo and I look forward to dancing, journeying and creating with you.
