Winter Solstice kirtan in Castlemaine
Event description
Join us for our Winter Solstice Kirtan, a call-and-response singing practice featuring Sanskrit words and folk melodies.
Kijam, a collective of local Castlemaine Kirtan singers and musicians, host public Kirtan events at every solstice and equinox.
Arrive at 6:30 PM for chai and mingling before chanting starts at 7 PM. Don't forget your water bottle and cushion, though chairs will be provided.
All, including children, are welcome to join us.
