Winter Solstice Medicine Lodge (sweat)

Welcome to our last Medicine Lodge of 2024.  Our Summer into Fall September Lodge was amazing.  It is good to do a whole year and follow the teachings and prayers of the Medicine Wheel.  

Looking forward to closing out this year with you and preparing for the powerful times to come.  If the predictions are correct we will already be shaking in various ways and our grounded loving support for each other and the earth will help our transition personally and collectively.  These lodgges are very powerful cleansing and resetting times and the Solstice is very powerful this year.  

This lodge will be held weather permitting on Saturday December 21st.  Starting the fire at 2pm.  This lodge will go into the dark of the evening, so bring flashlights.

It is a good time to wear cotton sweats in the lodge as the lodge gets considerably cooler in between doors.  Wear cloths to prepare lodge appropriate for woods and weather.  Bring a water bottle, drums, or medicine objects

The pot luck will be up at the lodge afterwards. 

Come early, any time after 10 to enjoy the land and help build the fire and cover the lodge.  It will be 8ish before we eat dinner together so people are welcome to stay overnight here as well.  

For 25 for floor space  and shower, to 50 for private bed shared room in the house, or for private trailer.  These will be first come first serve.   

You can pay me on venmo for room space.  I will contact you when I see your ticket.  There are 2 tickets for the Stone Medicine Lodge.  One is a suggested contribution and the other is a flexible amount.  Please support this lodge in a balanced way.  Additional contributions are welcome as well. 

I usually make a pot of bean soup but if others are inspired other soups are welcome, or make it simple with chips and dip or fruit and other finger food we can share while we are in preparation too.  We always have such abundance here, please bring what you would want for yourself and keep it very simple is best.

When you pull into the driveway at 913, go past the first house down the hill and park along the way down, at the fork, or going straight along the road to the campground area.  There is also parking at the Log Lodge and is a place to drop off food for the pot luck, but you can get blocked in if you park here, which is fine if you are not in a hurry to leave.  It is good to turn around when you first park so you are facing out.  

Bring several towels to sit on and dry off with.  Bring a warm wrap to go up to the house in.  YOu can change around the fire and bundle up for the time being as we gather up stuff and bring it back up the hill in the dark.
