Unloading your pain and fear

Over the course of our lives, we can experience many traumas. These can range to small but impactful events and experiences through to the extreme trauma of being involved in violence and natural disasters.

All kinds of trauma can impact how we experience life.

Trauma is stored in the body, it’s often the safest way to cope with the experience at the time. At some time, however, the trauma needs to be released from the body. The effect of not releasing trauma can lead to both physical and psychological pain and distress, and can lead to anxiety and depression (pain and fear).

This Winter Solstice I am creating an opportunity to unload the pain and fear of unreleased trauma with a Kundalini Yoga inspired Yogic Rebirthing.

This workshop uses Kundalini Yoga techniques to provide a safe container, where we can face our pain and fear and lovingly release them into the ether. Physical movement and breath work prepare the mind and body for deep meditation and release through experience and creativity. The workshop will be completed by a sound journey for an emotion and nervous system reset.

This special workshop will be held on Friday 21 June 2024 in the Apollo Hall, Lismore. The home of Deep Sound Immersion and Kundalini Trance Drumming, the Apollo Hall provides a welcoming space to hold you through this journey.

Please bring your yoga mat if you have one, a blanket to cover yourself during the sound journey and water to drink. If you do not have a mat or blanket there are some available in the space that you can use.
