It is one of the oldest celebrations in the world and many cultures around the world have marked this time of the year as one of the most spiritually awakening dates to celebrate life here on Mother Earth.
Winter Solstice is the day of the year with the fewest hours of daylight / the longest night - and marks the start of Astronomical Winter.
It is also the time when the great goddess gives birth to the Sun God, bringing new hope for the future.
We will welcome back the Sun, rebirthing the light within each of us, at Sunrise with a beautiful ritual.
