Winter Solstice - Yin & Pins
Event description
Winter Solstice Yin & Pins 🌑
Hosted by Angea Acupuncture
Led by Dr. Amanda Waaldyk & Dr. Chantel
Join us for a deeply nourishing evening to honour the Winter Solstice—the darkest night of the year, a sacred portal of stillness, reflection, and renewal.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Winter is the season of the Kidneys, the root of your vitality and the home of your Jing—your essence, your reserves, your wisdom. It is a time to return inward. To slow. To soften. To reconnect with the quiet whispers of your inner world.
✨ Yin Yoga & Acupuncture with Intention ✨
Led by Dr. Amanda Waaldyk, the evening begins with a gentle Yin Yoga practice, inviting you into the stillness and spaciousness of your inner terrain. These slow, grounded postures will open the body, nourish your meridians, and prepare you to receive.
Following the Yin, Dr. Chantel will guide you through a gentle group acupuncture session—the Pins—to anchor your body in rest, regulate your nervous system, and align with the energy of the Solstice.
This offering is an opportunity to deeply rest, reset, and reclaim your power from the inside out.
