Winter Sound Bath Sessions

Join The Gentle Living Project for our Winter Sound Bath Sessions - three immersive experiences held over three weeks, designed to promote deep relaxation, restore a sense of calm and delight the senses. You're welcome to attend one session or join us for all three.

Whether you're living with chronic illness, disability, caring responsibilities or burnout, or simply looking for an opportunity to slow down and reconnect, you're warmly invited to experience a gentle 90 minutes in a welcoming and inclusive community.

As you settle into comfort, the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls and other carefully selected instruments will gently fill the space. There is nothing you need to achieve, nowhere else you need to be, and nothing expected of you. Simply arrive exactly as you are and experience the session in whatever way feels right for you.

This isn't about "clearing your mind". It's about creating space for calm -however that looks for you.

Attend in person or online

We know that attending events in person isn't possible for everyone. That's why each session is available in two ways:

In person – Experience the sound bath in a welcoming, accessible community space.

Online via livestream – Join from the comfort of home if you're housebound, bedbound, managing illness, disability, fatigue, pain, distance or simply prefer to participate remotely.

Whether you join us in the room or from your own space, you'll be part of the same shared experience.

Designed with accessibility in mind

Creating gentle, welcoming and accessible spaces is at the heart of The Gentle Living Project.

You're welcome to sit, lie down, stretch, wear headphones or change positions throughout the session. We celebrate different bodies, different minds and different ways of experiencing the world, and want everyone to feel comfortable participating in the way that works best for them.

What to bring

To help you settle in comfortably, we recommend bringing:

Comfortable clothing
Yoga mat
Water bottle
Optional blanket
Optional cushion or bolster
Optional eye mask
NB. We request you avoid wearing any perfumes, scented body sprays or strong scented deodorants. Thank you for your kind understanding.

Supporting Emerge Australia

These sessions are charity fundraising events in support of Emerge Australia. 100% of event proceeds will be donated to help Emerge Australia continue their vital work supporting Australians living with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Long COVID and other energy limiting conditions through advocacy, education, research and patient support.

Your ticket offers an opportunity to enjoy a gentle period of calm while also supporting a cause that makes a meaningful difference to our community.
