Winter Stretch and Meditate Series
Event description
Winter is a time to keep our circulation moving to stay warm, and keep our vital energy or ‘chi’ flowing for good health. During the cooler months, we may also turn inward and nourish ourselves to restore our nervous systems and conserve energy.
During this series of 3 workshops, you will be guided through gentle and revitalising stretches to increase circulation and warmth in the body. Following this, you will practice deeply relaxing stretches in seated or lying down positions. These nourishing stretches are designed to soothe and calm your nervous system.
A guided meditation will follow. The meditation will culminate in a sweet sound bath using sounds to promote restful brain waves and feelings of peace and relaxation.
All mats and props will be provided, however, please bring a small cushion and two warm blankets of your own; one to lie on, and one to have on top of you. It is important to be warm and comfortable during these winter workshops - as you relax more deeply, your body temperature may drop.
You have the choice of booking into individual workshops or signing up for all three workshops at a discounted rate.
