Clarissa Hirst (Riss) is a holistic career coach who focuses on helping people build back their resilience and find fulfilment again after burnout.

Originally from Sydney, Australia, she’s lived in Tāmaki Makaurau for over 8 years and considers it home. After a decade in marketing, she left her full-time well-paid job after burning out spectacularly and after taking time out to recover, trained to be a coach so she could help others avoid making the same mistakes she did.

She’s passionate about connecting others, mental health and purposeful living, and created these events to provide those experiencing burnout with both practical tools and human connection that are so important to navigating this issue that is still not talked about as openly as it could be.

She's the co-founder of Project Sunrise, a community she started with two friends Floriane Caillot and Pete Whittaker, to support business owners and professionals navigating burnout and mental health struggles at work.
