Description

Winter Wellness Retreat

An afternoon of Yoga • Acupuncture • Sauna • Spa • Sound Bath

Join us for a nourishing half-day retreat designed to help you unwind, reconnect and deeply replenish during the quieter season of winter.

Held in the peaceful natural surrounds of Warrandyte, this intimate experience combines yoga, acupuncture, sauna, spa and sound bath to support deep rest for both body and mind.

Throughout the afternoon you'll be guided into a gentle yoga session, receive a personalised acupuncture treatment, spend time in reflection, and simply enjoy being held in a calm and supportive space.

By the end of the retreat, we hope you leave feeling grounded, relaxed, restored and deeply nourished.

To create an intimate experience, places are limited to 9 participants.

As this is a shared retreat, swimwear will be worn in the sauna and spa at all times.

What to expect

Gentle Yin-Yang Yoga Our retreat begins with a gentle Yin-Yang yoga practice suitable for all experience levels. The session combines mindful movement, slow flow and longer-held stretches to release physical tension, calm the nervous system and prepare the body for deep relaxation. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Personalised Community Acupuncture Following yoga, you'll receive an individual acupuncture treatment in a peaceful community setting. To make the most of our time together, everyone will complete a confidential online health intake form before the retreat. Your treatment will then be individually tailored to your constitution, current health and intentions for the day.

Approximately 10–12 fine, sterile needles will be used to support relaxation, regulate the nervous system and encourage balance within the body. Treatments will last approximately one hour, including around 30 minutes of quiet resting time with the needles in place.

Three participants will receive treatment at a time while others enjoy the sauna, spa or quiet reflection.

Sauna, Spa & Reflection Between treatments you'll have approximately two hours to enjoy the outdoor wellness space at your own pace. Choose to alternate between the sauna, hot spa, cold plunge pool or simply sit quietly with a cup of tea overlooking nature. This time is intentionally unstructured, allowing space to unwind, reflect, journal, meditate or simply rest. Snacks and herbal tea will be available throughout the afternoon.

Sound Bath We close the retreat with a sound bath to encourage deep relaxation and integration. The session may include crystal singing bowls, shamanic drum, voice, rattles, Koshi chimes and other healing instruments, creating a soothing soundscape to support rest and inner stillness.

About Your Facilitators

Guided by nature, intuition, and ancient wisdom, Lonne weaves together yoga, meditation, sound, and acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine in her workshops. With studies in acupuncture (BHSc), yoga training (250hr), and over 10 years as a seeker of holistic health, she creates nurturing spaces for self-discovery, connection, expression, and growth. Her mission is to support people in cultivating healthy habits with flow—so they can thrive with more ease and vitality.

Her workshops invite participants to pause, ground, and reconnect with their natural rhythm. Through movement, breath, sound, and mindful embodied practices, she supports the release of stagnation, the restoration of balance, and the opening to new possibilities.

The space will be co-hosted by B, who will provide additional support throughout the afternoon.
