Looking for something to do these Winter school holidays? Come and join us for our first of two Winter workshops at ErinEarth this year. The kids will help collect firewood and start our group fire, help cook jaffles over the coals and learn basic whittling skills. We will be making digging sticks, wands or chopsticks using potato peelers and knives.

Children will have the opportunity to slow down and deepen their connection with the land around them through the day's simple and mindful activities.

We request that parents please do not enrol children under the age of 9 years old. Due to the nature of this workshop, we are catering to the bigger kids from ages 9-12 years old.

A note for parents:

Enclosed shoes are required.
Please notify us of any allergies.
If you have any safety concerns regarding fire and whittling, please do not hesitate to contact ErinEarth staff. Safety precautions have been considered for the day's activities.
If your child becomes unwell or is no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible, ideally with at least 12 hours’ notice.
As this is a free workshop with limited places, last‑minute cancellations and no‑shows prevent children on our waiting list from participating. To ensure fair access for all families, repeated no‑shows will affect your ability to secure places at future ErinEarth events.
If a spot becomes available, an ErinEarth staff member will call or email you up to the day before to offer your child a spot.
