Join Sydney Conservatorium of Music Voice Lecturer Tanith Bryce for an engaging and practical workshop exploring the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), one of the most valuable tools in a singer's toolkit.

Whether you're preparing art song, musical theatre, opera, or contemporary repertoire, IPA provides a clear and consistent way to understand pronunciation across different languages. In this workshop, Tanith will introduce the fundamentals of IPA and demonstrate how it can be used to improve diction, accuracy, confidence, and musical expression.

Through practical examples and guided activities, participants will discover how singers use IPA to learn repertoire more efficiently and communicate text with greater clarity and authenticity.
