Come along to an in-depth dive into Alchemic Yoga in a rejuvenating and nourishing Mountain retreat space.

Winter is a time of going within, reflecting, slowing down, soothing and nourishing ourselves around a warm fire.
Slow mountain walks, easy stretches and relaxing in a hot spa!Alchemic yoga is seasonal yoga, thus working the organs, eating foods, and doing exercises & stretches that enhance our vitality and health in alignment with the season we are in.

It is the most comprehensive, sensible, smooth, easy and intuitive yoga. The classes are very well explained and open to raw beginners thru to experienced yoga teachers themselves. It is taught by John Burke - a true master in Healing, Healthy Anatomy & Physiology & World Wisdom and the founder of Alchemic Yoga.This Retreat is held at Temple of Vitality in Dunbible, situated half way between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast.

The relative flow of the retreat each day is:

Mornings:
-8am Gentle & well explained yoga
In Winter we do a different element of yoga each day. We start with Water as this is the element that is dominant in this season. The next day we do the life element Akasha or Wood, as Water generates Wood. The next day we do Fire, as Wood generates Fire. The next day Earth, as Fire generates Earth. Then Air as Earth generates Air. On the last day we complete the cycle by coming back to the Winter element Water, as Air generates Water.

-10:15am 1 - 1:15 hour of partner stretching
-12 noon LunchAfternoons:
Free time to roam the fruit forest, hike the glorious mountain, sit by waterfalls or swim in the Heated Copper/Silver Ionised pool or hot Ozone spa. Visit the local town of Murwillumbah (12 mins away) with her fantastic cafes and art scene
-3:00pm Theory class & Prana, Chi and Auric sensitivity and development 1 hourEvenings:
-6pm Dinner
-8pm Evening Circle/Meditations-the Internal Fires and Yoga Nidras.

At night we work on the “internal fires”, what the Tibetan teachers call Tu Mo, which we use to access Ancestral patterns and to help raise the Kundalini. We also call in the Celtic Arch-angels & Aboriginal Elder Spirit Beings, helping to tonify the Ley lines and Song lines and strengthen our own & the collective's paradigms.
These circles really are deeply moving.Note: Your welcome to arrive Tuesday June 27th to start early Wednesday morning and plan to leave late Monday.You are welcome to come for just the week-end or for certain days, just please let us know in advance.

TREATMENTS:
John is a renowned healer, specialising in releasing trapped nerves, veins, arteries, lymph, & re-setting the digestive system. If you'd like to book in for a treatment please text me before the retreat starts. There are usually 1-2 spots available each day for retreat attendees. Cost $80.

ACCOMODATION:
There are 5 luxury king twin share rooms available. All with spectacular views, and organic silk bamboo bedding. Or you're welcome to pitch a tent or van, camping is free, and there are plentiful spots.

FACILITIES:
There is central heating inside the main house and yoga shala to maintain an optimum temperature. Out on the porch there is a one of a kind Ozone Hot Tub, with double the jets inside, plus a Heated Copper/Silver Ionised swimming pool alongside.Separate to the main house, there's a huge commercial sized gymnasium, with inversion machines, vibration machine, Versa Climber, water rower, rings, ropes, smith machine & 400kg of free weights.Herb, tropical fruit & vegetable gardens are around the 75 acre farm. We have Mount Nullum national park as our back neighbour so its exceptionally serene, private and peaceful.
