In response to the recent flooding and the impact it's had on our community, this special edition of Wintering Within is being offered for free. Whether you've been giving your all to support others, or you're in need of space to rest and process what's unfolded, this retreat is here to nourish and replenish you.

As winter enfolds the land, we are invited to turn inward - to rest, reflect and reconnect with the quiet wisdom of our inner light. Wintering Within is a nourishing one day retreat designed to honour this season of stillness through gentle movement, creativity and deep presence.

What to Expect: Throughout the day you'll be guided through a series of slow, healing practices to support rest, release and renewal:

Embodied Stillness & Somatic Awareness - grounding practices to settle the nervous system and tune into the quiet intelligence of your body
Creative Inner Alchemy & Art Medicine - intuitive creative expression as a doorway to self-discovery and inner healing
Guided Meditation & Deep Rest - practices to connect your inner light and the spaciousness within
Qigong and Slow Movement - gentle energy cultivation to awaken and revitalise your inner landscape
Invitations to share, reflect and be held in a gentle, non-judgmental space, no pressure, just be you, do you.

Nourishment for the Body and Soul: A seasonal, Organic plant based lunch, nourishing snacks and herbal teas will be lovingly prepared from the bounty of the land here at Chifull Sanctuary. We honour the cycles of nature in every part of this offering.

What makes this retreat special: Intentionally slow, soulful and deeply restorative - an antidote to modern busyness. Rooted in Authenticity, care and connection to the land and the seasons, open to all levels - no experience in Qigong, Meditation or Art needed.

Important Info:

Please wear warm comfortable layers for movement and rest (there will be a fire inside the yurt, but it will be cold outside)
Bring a journal, water bottle and anything else that helps you feel cozy
All materials for creative practices will be provided
Spaces are limited to keep the group intimate - early booking recommended
