Wire Wrapture Artistically Twisted™ Workshop with Jodi Zulueta

Price $30 USD + BF Get tickets

Event description

Using kits that I will provide and tools that the students can use, (they may keep the supplies but not the tools), the students will learn some basic wire working techniques including manipulation of wire to create a framework, texturizing, and a basic wrap with beads.

Additionally, I will be lending creative guidance to help the students maximize their creativity.  It’s important to reinforce that art doesn’t have to be representative; opening the channels between the mind and the hands and allowing freeform to happen is key to enjoying the design process.

The finished product will be a necklace – no two pieces will be the same.  We won’t be using templates or an example – the designs will be 100% the students’ creations.

Jodi has an extensive background in jewelry design and in the arts. She has been designing jewelry since childhood, and professionally for almost two decades. She is the Silver Medal Winner of the 2021 Fire Mountain Gems Jewelry Design Contest along with two other designs coming in as finalists.

Jodi has established two distinct brands: Wire Wrapture Artistically Twisted™ and Eldwenne’s Fantasy™.  Her Wire Wrapture Artistically Twisted™ line consists of pieces which are physical embodiments of emotions, reflecting not only her own mental health journey, but facets of mental health struggles many can relate to. Additionally, Wire Wrapture Artistically Twisted™ extends to project positivity, inner growth, and grounding. Jodi’s Eldwenne’s Fantasy™ line is where you will find her love and inspirations from fandoms such as Supernatural, Star Wars, Dragon Ball, Ghosts, The Witcher and much more expressed abstractly through her wire wrapping styles and use of color.

Various cast members of our favorite television shows including Supernatural, Ghosts CBS, The Walking Dead, Castlevania, The Mandalorian, Star Trek, Star Trek: Discovery, Firefly Lane and more are proud wearers of her designs. Musicians such as Kathy Valentine from The Go Gos, Tiffany and more also own Jodi’s work.

Other distinctions of Jodi’s artistic journey include being the art director for The Hoboken Shelter in New Jersey for three years, as well as having both her jewelry and her paintings exhibited in galleries and venues on the east coast.

Additionally, Jodi was on the Board of Directors for Hob’art, a cooperative artist group which was involved in extensive community outreach combined with artistic exposure.

Jodi invites you to explore your well-being with designs from Wire Wrapture Artistically Twisted™ and to declare your favorite fandom proudly with designs from Eldwenne’s Fantasy™.

Begin your journey now. From Artistically Twisted to Fangirling – Jodi has you covered
