Wirrina Music Camp 2022
Event description
Wirrina Bluegrass and Acoustic Roots Festival is running a three day music camp for acoustic stringed instruments, immediately prior to the Wirrina Bluegrass & Acoustic Roots Festival. Join us for three days of musical fun, jams, and group tuition with experienced tutors, in a community camp atmosphere. At the core of the camp will be workshops and tuition run by the American trio Smith Allen & Peterson. Beverly Smith, Kellie Allen, and Pete Peterson, are award-winning players of Old-Time Music and will also be playing at the Wirrina Bluegrass & Acoustic Roots Festival after the Music Camp. Other tutors will be engaged if there is sufficient enthusiasm.
The camp is suitable for a range of player levels but some experience is advisable. Tuition will be in acoustic styles with some focus on Old Time and Bluegrass.

The Camp will be held at the Wirrina Cove Holiday Park. Please book your accomodation separately. Camping onsite is available—for tents, caravans, campervans, camper trailers, and swags!
