WISDOM TALK - Vedic Pop Culture with Jamey Hood
Event description
Join Jamey Hood (USA) as we discuss how the principles of the Veda show up in the stories we love.
What do Harry, Buffy, Neo, Ang, and Luke have in common? They’re all the “Chosen One.” Not only that, but they each have two close friends whom they can’t save the world without and across all of these stories, the two besties have similar qualities.
Let’s explore the GOAT of “Chosen Ones” better known as, Lord Rama, and how The Ramayana is the archetypal basis for most stories and lives on a subtle layer of consciousness accessible by all. We’ll have fun highlighting the similarities between the Chosen Ones and see to what extent we can identify roles, functions, and archetypes in our own lives. Audience participation encouraged.
Let’s play!
