Description

We spend a huge portion of our lives at work, but for the majority of the population, it's something they endure rather than enjoy. From the Vedic perspective, whether you work for yourself or for someone else, you deserve to feel purposeful and fulfilled in your work. It's your birthright rather than the luck of the draw.

This lively wisdom talk, with Brett Jarman and Barron Hanson, will help you rethink your relationship with work so you can feel inspired about what you do and eager to put your insights into practice. If you want your work to be more meaningful and more playful, this is one wisdom talk that will speak directly to you.

About Brett

Brett Jarman is a Vedic Meditation teacher, with over 35 years of twice-daily practice behind him. He hasn't had a real job in more than 40 years, but with 25 years of experience as a business consultant working with organisations worldwide, he has deep insights into workplaces and workplace culture, and the nature of the humans who work in them.

When he's not teaching Vedic Meditation or consulting with other business owners, you'll also find Brett producing podcasts, including Thom Knoles hugely popular The Vedic Worldview Podcast.

FAQs

  • What is a Wisdom Talk?

A Vedic Wisdom Talk hosted by Barron Hanson is a 90-minute live session designed to open up timeless Vedic knowledge in a relatable, practical way.

The first 60 minutes is a conversation with Barron and the subject, where they shares ideas, stories and insights drawn from the Vedic worldview. The final 30 minutes is open for audience Q&A, giving people a chance to ask questions, go deeper, and explore what is most relevant to their own life.

These talks are packed with wisdom, insight and inspiration. They are designed to get you thinking, expand your perspective, and leave you with something meaningful to take into daily life.

  • What is the Vedic worldview?

The Vedic worldview is an ancient understanding of life that sees consciousness as the foundation of everything. It teaches that there is an underlying intelligence organising nature, and that when we live in greater alignment with it, life tends to flow with more ease, clarity and purpose. In these talks, Barron explores how this timeless wisdom can be understood and applied in a practical, modern way.
