Unfortunately author of the Ratbags series Tim Harris, is no longer able to visit us due to unforeseen circumstances. WE are super excited to have hilarious kids author Oliver Phommavanh visit instead to lead our Book Cub wrap up and talk about his own writing and book series as well!

Oliver will chat about Tim's book and our Big Bathurst Book Club pick Ratbags #3 : Best of Pests for a hilarious wrap up to the program. PLUS hear Oliver speak about his own writing and kids series. 

About Oliver

Oliver Phommavanh loves to make people laugh, whether it’s on the page writing humour for kids or on stage as a stand-up comedian. As a comedian, Oliver has appeared on stage, and on national TV and radio. He is the author of books such as 'What about Thao?', 'Con-Nerd', 'Super Con-Nerd' and more!

The 2023-2024 Big Bathurst Book Club for Kids is possible thanks to the LBW Trust, in collaboration with Friends of Libraries Australia (FOLA) and Harvey Norman, who through the Trust’s 2023 National Backyard Cricket (NBYC) campaign have granted Bathurst Library some funding to create the program for the community.
