Solar Design Challenge

“STEMM in Your Future” is a hands-on workshop series designed for curious girls and gender diverse people aged 12–15 to explore science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine in fun, real-world ways. Students can attend just one session or join us for the whole series—it’s entirely up to them! Each participant will receive a special program magazine full of STEMM career tips, inspiration, and space to mark off the workshops they’ve completed along the way.

What does the house of the future look like? In this workshop, students will take on the role of sustainability engineers as they design and build model homes powered by Litogami solar panels. They'll learn how solar energy works, explore the basics of circuits and design thinking, and test their own creative builds. With a focus on renewable energy and real-world problem-solving, this session will empower young engineers to imagine - and create -smarter, greener solutions for the world around them.
