The Gods of the ancient world still remain with us today. Their stories are often found within the myths and folklore. While some people may perceive them as archetypes, to the witch, the ancient Gods are more than figments of our imagination, they are living and breathing divine entities.

In this workshop we will be exploring the role of deity, the Gods and Goddesses, that are found within witchcraft - from the first written records to contemporary witchcraft, as well as discussing reasons for the possible "rejection" of religious elements found in many modern interpretations.

You will discover the benefits of connecting and working with the Gods; whether it is possible to "choose" a particular God or Goddess, or do they choose you; and even whether connecting with a God or Goddess from another culture constitutes as "cultural appropriation".

Learn how to set up an altar, undertake devotional practices, where to find appropriate hymns and invocations, as well as how to write your own.

NB: This Gathering Around the Cauldron event will include a rite which will require group participation and movement. As such, what you receive out of such events is based on your willingness to participate.

Gathering Around the Cauldron offers the opportunity for the genuine seeker, novice, or solitary to meet and connect with like-minded individuals, as well as sharing knowledge and gaining practical experience when it comes to working magick and ritual through the lens of contemporary witchcraft.
