Event description
Join me for an evening of poetry dedicated to exploring the art form of creative writing and self expression through literature.
We will begin the evening with some delicious homemade chai tea to initiate us into a state of reflection, connection to our third eye and the minds inner realms. I will be sharing excerpts from my unreleased new poetry collection 'Meet me in the meta' coming out in late April 2024.
We will then explore some vulnerability exercises to get you connected both in heart and body before we dive in to key writing exercises and the creative process as a whole including tips and tricks for letting your creative juices flow!
The night will conclude with an open floor for anyone feeling called to share their writing OR a piece of writing they have resonated with (aka written by someone else). Please do not feel pressured to share, as witnessing and holding space are just as valid participation in this event.

Note:
❀ An incredibly empowered, safe container will be made to share our offerings as I acknowledge the bravery, vulnerability and depth that this entails.
❀ No experience in writing is necessary, this is open and accessible to everyone!
❀ Snacks of fruit and chocolate will also be provided
What to bring:
❀ A notebook/journal to write in

❀ Optional: a short piece of literature or poetry you love or have written yourself to share
I am very excited to be offering you something that is incredibly dear to my heart! Writing has become a form of therapy for me. It has taught me so much and has held me in some pretty dark moments of life. It melts me heart to think that it could do the same for others.
