WithYou Talks is a series for women* and their supporting partners on the Mornington Peninsula who are on the transformational journey from womanhood to motherhood, or planning to take that step. Join us for cosy-couch and heart-warming talks, curated just for you, with topical conversations by With You Midwifery & Friends – a community of knowledge specialists who understand the intricacies of pre-pregnancy and pregnancy journeys. Our talks are hosted in-person so you can ask all your questions and meet others on a similar journey to you. Discover, Connect, Thrive!

Speaker: Jemma Williams

Jemma Williams
Women's Health Physio, Peninsula Pelvic Health

Jemma brings expertise honed through a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and post-graduate studies in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation. With a client-centred approach, she specialises in bladder and bowel issues, post-surgical recovery, and pre-and post-pregnancy care. Jemma's passion for pelvic health extends to addressing sexual and persistent pelvic pain. Committed to empowerment and support, Jemma fosters a welcoming environment where all individuals can flourish in their pelvic health journey.

Speaker: Jo Ford

Jo Ford
Founder of Bodybump & Pregnancy Fitness Specialist

Jo draws from her own pregnancy journey to support women seeking fitness during pregnancy. With expertise in aqua fitness and pregnancy meditation, she offers evidence-based advice and advocates for exercise's transformative role in pregnancy. Active in Pilates, strength training and yoga, she enjoys high-intensity workouts like bootcamps and boxing. Through Bodybump, Jo provides a trusted resource for expectant mothers, navigating mixed messages about safe exercise and empowering them to maintain their fitness journey during pregnancy.

Speaker: Sarah Carmody

Sarah Carmody
Social Worker, Mum and Wellness & Fitness Participant 

Sarah is a family social worker working in a primary school with vulnerable families including those experiencing family violence, drug and alcohol issues and mental health issues. Health and fitness are really important to Sarah for maintaining not only physical health, but positive mental health too. Sarah is also a mother of two, and is thankful for the incredible positive pregnancies and births she experienced.

Penny is a very experienced Midwife of 26+ years, and is the founder of With You Midwifery. She is on a mission to spread her love of education, empowering and supporting women through their antenatal, birth and postpartum journeys through a continuity of Midwife care model. On a mission to rekindle women's villages, she is also the host of WithYou Talks, an inspiring talk series that brings together multiple knowledge specialists around a topic for live audiences.
