    Event description

    Mini Mentors / Mentees

We are excited to offer our "Mini Mentor" program as part of our next event in February.  Our “Mini Mentor” program offers those who are attending the event to also build their network by volunteering as either a mentor or a mentee.

Mini Mentees can be uni students, parent returning to work, new to the industry (or Perth Tech Scene), upskilling, reskilling or looking to connect with more people in Tech.

Mini Mentors work in various roles in Perth Tech+ - including Technical, Management, Project Management, Account Management etc and across many industry streams.  We have been delighted with the generosity from the community in the past with a lot of amazing people who have volunteered to be “Mini Mentors”.

The program will allow you to kick off before the event with one on one time with a paired mentor/mentee to share more about you, your passion for tech+ and build a connection (we will help you along the way).  Once the event starts you can then choose to network or continue your discussions.

If you want to participate as a mentor or mentee organise your ticket to the event here, then visit the link below to register your interest as a Mini Mentor or Mini Mentee: WiTWA TechXChange Event - How to lead high-impact conversations & make a great connection

I want to be "Mini Mentored" what does this mean/what do I need to do?

    1. Order your event ticket for the main event WiTWA TechXChange Event - How to lead high-impact conversations & make a great connection! Please note you must already have an event ticket to participate in the mentoring program.

    2. Once you have your event ticket, please then register as a Mini Mentee by ordering your complimentary ticket below to secure your place as a Mini Mentee and answer the provided question. Additional information will be sent to you upon registration, however please email imogen@witwa.org.au should you have any questions outside of these.

On the night of the event you would need to arrive at 5.15pm. This will provide you with 15mins 1on1 time with your "Mini Mentor" where you can ask them about their job, the industry etc.

After that, as the event starts (prior to the panel commencing), your Mini Mentor will spend another 15-30mins with you introducing you to their connections and conversations to provide you with insight to hopefully help you build your confidence, knowledge and network.
