• What is included in my ticket?

  Your ticket includes a fabulous Melbourne Cup experience at the beautiful Ridge Restaurant, with canapés and French bubbles on arrival, a delicious two-course lunch, Fashions on the Field with fabulous prizes, entry into our Lucky Door Prize Draw, music and dancing and all the excitement of the Melbourne Cup live in stunning surrounds.

• Where is the event being held?

  Our Melbourne Cup celebration is being held at the beautiful Ridge Restaurant, Noosa Heads, nestled within the stunning surrounds of Noosa Springs.

  Known for its modern, relaxed setting and memorable dining, The Ridge celebrates fresh, locally sourced produce with beautifully crafted dishes and a wonderful selection of wines, cocktails and beverages. It’s the perfect setting to settle in, dress up and enjoy a fabulous Melbourne Cup afternoon with us.

• Is seating allocated?

  Yes. This is a seated event and tables will be allocated prior to the day. When booking your tickets, you’ll be prompted at checkout to let us know who you’d like to be seated with, and we’ll do our very best to accommodate your request.

• Can I book a full table?

  Absolutely. Groups are encouraged to book together. Where possible, please purchase your tickets under the same booking to help us seat your party together. Guests will be seated in groups of 6, 8, 10 or 12, creating the perfect setting to enjoy the Melbourne Cup celebrations with friends.

• What is the dress code?

  It’s Melbourne Cup Day, so it’s the perfect excuse to glam up and suit up! While there’s no official dress theme, we encourage you to embrace the occasion, dress to impress and bring your best race-day style - especially with Fashions on the Field and fabulous prizes up for grabs.

• Will there be Fashions on the Field?

  Absolutely! It wouldn’t be Melbourne Cup Day without Fashions on the Field. Guests are encouraged to bring their best race-day style, with fabulous prizes up for grabs across our Fashions on the Field categories. Winners will be announced on the day. Categories include: Best Fascinator, Best Dressed Lady and Best Dressed Couple.

• What drinks are included?

  A glass of French bubbles is included on arrival to get the celebrations started in style! Additional beverages will be available to purchase from The Ridge throughout the event, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the afternoon.

• Are non-alcoholic drinks available?

  Absolutely. A selection of soft drinks, mocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase from The Ridge throughout the event.

• Can dietary requirements be accommodated?

  Absolutely. You’ll be prompted at checkout to let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies so The Ridge can prepare accordingly. Your dietary requirements will be discreetly noted as part of the table setting to help ensure the correct meal is served to you on the day.

• What happens if I can no longer attend, what is your refund policy?

  As this is a charity fundraising event, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. We understand that plans can change, so tickets may be transferred to another guest if you’re unable to attend. Any ticketing matters will be managed in accordance with the event’s stated refund policy and Humanitix terms.

  If you need to make a change to the guest attending in your place, please contact us at events@wavesofkindness.com.au and we’ll be happy to update the booking details for you.

• Is there transport available?

  We encourage all guests to plan their journey to and from the event ahead of time, particularly if you’ll be enjoying a few drinks with us on the day. Please consider arranging a designated driver, taxi or rideshare service so you can relax and enjoy the celebrations safely.
