Event description

Conversations on the Couch with Alison Rogers.  This event will be facilitated by Alison Rogers, Partner Pinnacle Properties Hobart with fellow authors and guest speakers Rachael Downie and Melissa Donaldson-Hey.

There will also be live or recorded crossovers of other speakers featuring at this event.

Nothing is more empowering than learning from others. Humble Leaders brings together a diverse group of women who share their journey, challenges, highs and lows so you can be inspired and perhaps avoid a pitfall or two. As the saying goes: ‘What would you dare to do, if you knew you could not fail’?

Through the chapters of Humble Leaders you are introduced to twelve amazing women, all WNA members, from diverse backgrounds both culturally, career/industry wise, geographically and with very different life stories.

They each offer a unique story of how they overcame their challenges and roadblocks, be they personal or professional. The writing is honest, bold and from their hearts.

Attend the Hobart luncheon and hear about the why from these three women leaders who participated in the book but also discover how down the track, you too can co-contribute in the same way or be a published author or authorship to grow your business and have an impact on the world.

ABOUT THE HUMBLE LEADERS BOOK:

It was through several instinctual and daily phone calls during a period of home-enforced solitude with individual WNA members that I started to uncover many deeply inspiring and emotional stories of businesswomen who have quietly yet powerfully moved with humility, adaptability and innovation to advocate for change.

As I started to uncover the personalities and presence of these wonderful women and was privileged to unearth their powerful insights and wisdom, I realized their stories just had to be shared. Their stories brought laughter to my heart, tears of joy and disbelief to my eyes, empathy as they described their triumphs and their tragedies, but mostly I was influenced by their humility and kindness in their treatment of others and the recognition of their own strengths and weaknesses.
