Well of Being with Nichol Chase
Dancing with Challenge: Practice Lab
Dancing with Challenge: Practice Lab is for anyone seeking greater resilience, clarity, and well-being amid the complexity of modern life. Together, we’ll explore practical, evidence-informed approaches that help us meet life’s inevitable challenges with greater steadiness, wisdom, and compassion.
Drawing from yogic and Buddhist philosophy, psychology, and contemporary research on stress and resilience, this session weaves together guided meditation, breathwork, embodied practices, contemplative reflection, and conversation—offering simple, sustainable tools for living with greater presence, purpose, and ease.
This session will focus on compassion and the body, drawing on Wangyal Rinpoche’s teachings on the subtle body.
This class is open to everyone. No prior meditation experience is required.

Nichol Joy Chase, ERYT-500, YACEP, TSM, BM, is a yoga and meditation educator, and musician for whom singing, movement and contemplation is integral to life. She is a Garrison Institute Fellow alum, and developed a new trauma-sensitive yoga program for her capstone project. Nichol is the founder of the Wisdom Building Method Yoga School as well as a faculty member and teacher trainer for The Mazé Method Yoga School, Nest Yoga School, Love Story Yoga, and Hot Spot Yoga.
Nichol’s artistic experience includes more than a decade of Royal Academy ballet training and specialization as an operatic Coloratura Soprano, earning the Bachelor of Music degree with a major in Vocal Performance from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music. Nichol’s study of yoga piqued an interest in bhajan and kirtan from the Indian musical tradition, resulting in the addition of the harmonium to her repertoire for accompaniment. She continues to study mantra, bhajan and kirtan along with a vast array of Western musical styles.
Every Wednesday, join us at the “Well of Being” where Eve and friends offer contemporary translations of ancient Tibetan Buddhist tools coupled with modern psychology for cultivating concentration, emotion awareness, insight, and compassion. Eve draws from her expertise as a lead instructor in experiential and evidenced-based trainings for emotion transformation, Cultivating Emotional Balance. Reveal the healing source of your inner well-being through meditation, contemplation, and discussion.
