Wollotuka HDR Festival
Event description
As part of the University of Newcastle's HDR Student Festival, we are hosting a gathering at Wollotuka to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Higher Degree Research.
The day is an opportunity to share research knowledge, and network with peers in a relaxed and supportive environment.
We welcome Wollotuka and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HDR Network candidates, HDR supervisors, as well as prospective HDR students, undergraduates, community, colleagues, and guests.
The event will be held at the The Wollotuka Institute, Birabahn Building, on Wednesday 27th August from 10-2pm.
There will be a program of presentations and activities, including:
Presentations from HDR candidates
PhD journey stories
Yarns on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander methodologies
Research poster displays
Please join us to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research and the HDR journey while enjoying some delicious food and a yarn by the Birabahn fire.
