    Event description

☾ HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY SOME DAYS OF THE MONTH YOU ARE FULL OF ENERGY, WHILE OTHERS YOU WANT TO STAY IN BED AND HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH PEOPLE?

☾ Why you can be so lit up by your work one day and stuck in a spiral of comparison the next?

☾ Has anyone ever told you to stop being so hormonal… like it was a bad thing?

What if we told you that these changes in your body are not erratic or unpredictable? That they are cyclical, beautiful, powerful. That understanding them could be your greatest strength?

Mamma nature didn’t intend for our cycles to be some horrible, hated part of who we are. You aren’t meant to be in physical, mental or emotional turmoil every month. We have grown up believing that the mood swings and painful cramps that come along with our cycle are normal and we just have to deal with it.

    But guess what?!

    • You have the power to love every stage of your cycle, even your period.
    • You deserve to love being a woman.
    • You have the right to embrace yourself and learn this knowledge.

So are you going to accept this power to change your cycle for the better? Or keep struggling through it month after month?

"WHEN WE KNOW OUR CYCLE, WE KNOW OURSELVES"

Womb Wisdom is a workshop designed for the woman who is ready to understand the changes that happen in her body each month, who wants to know herself on a deeper level, and use that knowledge to reconnect to her body.

Shannon from Nourish Hub and Liz from Wild Womb Co- have teamed up to bring you this collaborative and immersive workshop, so that you can start taking the steps to live your best life in the body you call home.

    WHAT WILL THIS WORKSHOP ENTAIL?

Join us as we nourish your nervous system, open your heart and fly with your creativity as we indulge in the divine experience of a Sacred Cacao Ceremony.  We will start off sipping on this magical plant medicine and learning about the history and benefits of ceremonial grade cacao. Gathered in circle we will then ground into a womb meditation to move stagnant emotions, connect to our cycles, elicit creativity and set transformational intentions.

We will then dive into the hormonal, physical and emotional changes that occur throughout your menstrual cycle. Covering how these changes impact your health and well-being and how you can start charting your own cycle to enhance your self care and tap into your intuitive and creative energy.

Think open conversation, education, and connection to yourself and the other women present so that you can come home to your body and tune in to that inner Womb Wisdom.

    HAVE SOME QUESTIONS?

I have never been to an event like this before, does that matter?

Of course not! A lot of the knowledge that you will be receiving in this workshop is brand new to everyone. There are no requirements for any prior learnings or practices as we will go through everything you need on the night to tune into your womb. All we ask is that you come with an open heart for the other women around you, and an open mind so that you get the most out of it.

    How is the workshop delivered?

Throughout the workshop we will guide you through a combination of ceremony, meditation and education, alongside open discussion and reflection. The amazing part about keeping this small and intimate is that we will also start to break down the stigmas and period stories that we have grown up believing, while being supported by a group of like-minded women.

    What is ceremonial grade cacao?

Ceremonial cacao is a gentle yet powerful plant medicine, native to Guatemala and Peru where the whole bean is used for healing and grounding benefits. The Cacao used in these ceremonies is a rare strain that has been sustainably sourced from a not-for-profit - ensuring that all profits are circulated back to the Peruvian farmers where cacao is sourced at more than fair-trade prices. This company's mission is beautifully heart-centred and is to protect the native, endangered strains of cacao that have been preserved by indigenous communities of Peru for thousands of years.

Cacao awakens and balances the heart and root chakra as it works to be heart-opening and grounding, allowing us to delve into deep inner work, ground into our bodies, connect to our wombs, acknowledge our emotions and ignite our creativity. A cacao ceremony allows you to connect with your higher self, providing clarity and guidance.

Cacao is also thought to contain around 1,200 chemically individual components beneficial for mind, body and soul.

    ~ Phenylethylamine: the LOVE molecule

    ~ Anandamide: the BLISS chemical

    ~ Serotonin: the HAPPINESS hormone

    ~ Oxytocin: the BONDING hormone

What can I expect during the cacao ceremony?

During the cacao ceremony we will be taking you through intention setting, tuning into your womb space, a guided meditation, mantras + affirmations, a short 1:1 sound healing, and plenty of connection + reflection time (with ourselves and others)

I don’t have a regular cycle, does that matter?

Nope! Even if you aren’t cycling naturally now, you are still more than welcome to come along. This education is valuable for people through all walks of life and we will offer some alternative ways of charting and journaling with your cycle.

Does this workshop apply to women who don’t have a menstrual cycle? Eg on hormonal birth control. Pregnant, breastfeeding, menopausal, trans women, experiencing amenorrhea?

Yes! Even if you aren’t cycling naturally now, you are still more than welcome to come along. This education is valuable for people through all walks of life and we will offer some alternative ways of charting and journaling with your cycle.

Should I bring anything on the evening?

Please bring along a journal and pen to take any notes you feel called to. We also invite you to bring along your favourite mug (this is not essential but it can be nice to use your own!). We also recommend wearing clothes that are comfortable and non restrictive as we will be on the floor and doing some gentle movement throughout the evening. (If you require a chair please let us know!)

I have a personal question, can I contact you privately?

You sure can, both of our contact details are listed below. Feel free to send us a message on our socials or via email!

"I love the way Liz teaches and educates on the magic of your menstrual cycle! She brings a fun, grounded and approachable way to a sometimes-overwhelming topic so whether you are completely new to this work, or have been tracking for months, you will still receive so much fresh wisdom.

I have been to Liz's Cycle Workshops and walked away with a greater connection to and appreciate of my cycle, with a deeper understanding of why certain patterns, emotions, physical changes, and thoughts play out at different times of the month for me. I have been so inspired by Liz to track my cycle each day and build a stronger relationship with my body and my femininity.”

"I attended the first Nourish Hub Women’s Circle on a whim after hearing about it from a friend, having never attended anything like it before I wasn’t really sure what to expect. What I was greeted with was a beautiful space, that allowed my to be my authentic self, instant connections with like minded women, deep conversations and the ability to connect with myself and those around me on a deeper level. Shannon is an absolutely beautiful soul who radiates kindness and warmth and makes you feel so welcome.
