    Event description

Join us as we welcome our guest speaker, Kelly Evans - Founder, Cultivate Sport at our upcoming event on 27th February.

    Speaker Bio

Cultivating meaningful sports careers and partnerships with athletes and brands, on and off the field of play.

The first New Zealand female accredited rugby agent, Kelly Evans has worked with athletes for over 16 years and founded her company in 2012 after identifying a lack of female representation.

Kelly manages advocacy, contract negotiations, media, strategic career planning and commercial partnerships with some of the biggest international brands for her clients.

She is passionate about female equal opportunities both on and off the pitch and for over a decade has been dedicated to driving positive change around the way in which women in sport are valued and visible; recently completing a 3 year term on the Board of Women in Sport Aotearoa.

At the Women & Business event in February, Kelly will discuss the challenges in the sport industry, the rise of women in sport and how she established and continues to run her global agency from Palmerston North.

What to expect on the night

Our events kick off with a networking session from 5.30-6.00pm so that guests can mix & mingle over a drink & nibbles. Following that, our MC, Wendy Carr, leads us through a brief presentation by one of our sponsors, followed by a presentation from our key-note speaker, including audience Q&A + discussion. We aim to finish by 7.00pm.

Our speakers are generally business founders or professionals from a wide-range of industries throughout New Zealand.

    Who can attend?

Our monthly events are designed for guests to connect, share resources, experiences and learnings and to exchange ideas and inspiration for personal and professional growth.

Our events are for anyone who identifies as a woman. Whether you’re young-ish or old-er, a business owner, non-business owner, volunteer or student. Our space is inclusive of all, and our doors are open.

Our ethos is that the business of empowering women is something we can all be part of.
