We are excited (and feel very privileged!) to have the phenomenal Minnie Baragwanath (MNZM) join us for our event on Tuesday 23rd April.
Minnie is a Social Innovator, Author, Coach and Consultant. She is also the Chief Possibility Officer at the Global Centre of Possibility at AUT in Auckland.
She is an experienced, lively and captivating public speaker who has addressed audiences around the globe and can speak compellingly and empathetically with anyone about why access matters and how to reimagine our world through a contemporary access lens.
Twelve years ago, Minnie created a social change agency committed to the creation of a 100% accessible Aotearoa, particularly for the one in four of us living with an access need.
In 2019 Minnie led the transformation of Be. Accessible into the Be. Lab, and established what was to become the Global Centre of Possibility @ AUT.
The Global Centre of Possibility, with its unique emphasis on “Possibility leadership, design and innovation” as the key to future social transformation, is the next chapter in that pioneering story!
Over the last few years Minnie has been awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM), the Sir Peter Blake Leadership Award, the Westpac Women of Influence Diversity award, the Zonta women’s award and was placed as a top 10 finalist for the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year.

If you have an access need, no problem! We just ask that you send us a quick email to info@womenandbusiness.co.nz before the event so that we can ensure your needs are met from when you arrive at the Globe Theatre.
What to expect on the night
Our events kick off with a networking session between 5.30 - 6.00pm so that guests can connect over a drink & nibbles. At 6.00pm we head into one of the theatres at Globe Theatre for a presentation from one of our sponsors, and then our guest speaker, with audience Q&A + discussion following before the event is wrapped up at approximately 7.00pm.

Our monthly events are designed for guests to connect, share resources, experiences and learnings and to exchange ideas and inspiration for personal and professional growth.
