Women & Business with Natalie Ferguson & Kristen Lunman - Founders of Powersuit
Event description
We're excited to announce our upcoming event with Natalie Ferguson & Kristen Lunman - Co-Founders of Powrsuit on Tuesday 27 May.
Mini-masterclass: How to hone (and own) your professional identity
When you hear “personal branding” or “executive presence,” what pops into your mind? Eye-roll? Intimidation? Confusion? You’re not alone. That’s why we’ve partnered with Powrsuit for a practical mini-masterclass that will reshape how you think about these two powerful (and misunderstood) career tools.
We know executive presence when we see it: people who seem naturally confident, capable, and ready for leadership. But here’s the secret: it’s not about your height, your degree, or being the loudest in the room. It’s about small, strategic actions that anyone can learn. In this interactive session, you’ll:
- Challenge misconceptions about the role of personal brand and executive presence in your career
- Discover simple, practical ways to build executive presence in daily life
- Craft (and practice) one key element: Your meeting elevator pitch (BYOP: bring your pen, phone, or laptop!)
You’ll leave with a clear, confident 20-second pitch that captures who you are, the value you bring, and what you need - ready to put into action at your next meeting.
Access Need?
If you have an access need, no problem! We just ask that you send us a quick email to info@womenandbusiness.co.nz before the event so that we can ensure your needs are met from when you arrive at the Globe Theatre.
What to expect on the night
Our events kick off with a networking session between 5.30 - 6.00pm so that guests can connect over a drink & nibbles. At 6.00pm we head into one of the theatres at Globe Theatre for a presentation from one of our sponsors, and then our guest speaker, with audience Q&A + discussion following before the event is wrapped up at approximately 7.00pm.
Who can attend?
Women & Business is not just about women and business. It’s about so much more.
Our monthly events are designed for guests to connect, share resources, experiences and learnings and to exchange ideas and inspiration for personal and professional growth.
They are for anyone who identifies as a woman. Whether you’re young-ish or old-er, a business owner, non-business owner, volunteer or student, CEO or intern… or anything in-between!
