Women & Children First’s annual Mother’s Day Lunch returns Friday 10th May 2024 at the beautiful Manly Pacific - an event to celebrate mums everywhere and raise funds to support mums and children experiencing domestic violence and abuse.
Join us and be treated to a delicious 2 course lunch in the Manly Pacific Ballroom which boasts beautiful views of Manly beach. The event will be hosted by comedian and writer, Mandy Nolan so you're guaranteed an afternoon of laughter!
Our guest speaker is the incredible Gretel Killeen - known for being a best-selling author, award-winning comedy writer and host of award-winning TV. But Gretel is also a mum, a grandma and one of four daughters who offers a unique yet relatable perspective on life and motherhood. Known for her wit and captivating speaking style, and we can't wait to hear what Gretel has to say!
We're delighted to also be joined by Rachael Leah Jackson, 2023 Northern Beaches Citizen of the Year. As a dedicated member of the community, Rachael has been deeply involved in supporting various causes and initiatives playing a significant role in community events and projects. Alongside raising her three children, Rachael advocates tirelessly for individuals with disabilities, lived experience of domestic violence, and those experiencing homelessness. Rachael’s journey with Women & Children First began 11 years ago when the organisation supported her through one of the most challenging periods of her life.
Whilst this event is a key opportunity to raise much needed funds, there will be plenty of space for celebration and connection with friends and colleagues.
Ticket price - $179 per person or $1,499 for a table of 10 (saving of $300) - includes a 2 course lunch, drinks for the duration of the event and a live music by local singer / songwriter, Tilli Kay.
