Fishing for Women and Girls

This class is suitable for females aged 13 and up

Enviro Fish Inc. is proud to provide resources to create greater opportunities for more women and girls to become involved in recreational fishing.  
We are working with the award winning team at 2 Bent Rods to facilitate these classes.

This fishing series is designed to empower women of all skill levels with the tools and confidence to fish independently.  
Starting with the basics and progressing each lesson, you’ll gain practical experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Fishing from Shorncliffe, you will learn new skills and make new friends.
You'll learn different knots, rigs, baits etc, for the different areas and species you'll be fishing for.

Participants who attend at least 2 out of 3 sessions in this series, will go home with a free Shimano rod and reel combo.

All equipment and bait is supplied. This activity is suitable for women and girls aged 13 and above.

Saturday 10th May
Sunday 1st June
Sunday 15th June

The Queensland Government provided $7500 to Enviro Fish Inc. for the Active Women and Girls program to enable Queenslanders to participate in sport and recreation activities.
