Women Don't Cycle - movie screening
Event description
WJoin us for an inspiring evening of adventure and empowerment as we watch Women Don't Cycle, a documentary film about Anne-Sophie, a woman who cycled from Brussels to Tokyo to challenge the stereotypes and prejudices that women face in the cycling world. Along the way, she met other women cyclists who shared their stories, struggles, and joys of riding on two wheels. This film celebrates the diversity, strength, and spirit of women who don't let anyone tell them what they can or can't do.
The screening will take place on April 6th, 2024 at the Sage Hotel Wollongong. Doors open at 5.30 pm and there will be snacks and drinks for sale. We are asking for a gold coin donation for the movie producers to support their work and vision.
This event has been organised by IBUG (Illawarra Bicycle User Group) and Destination Wollongong, two organisations that promote cycling and tourism in the region. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with other women cyclists and support this amazing project. Tickets are free but limited, so book yours today!
