Hollywood stars, historical footage and stylised reenactments tell the story of Australian costume designer, Academy award winner and gay icon Orry-Kelly.
Women He's Undressed is a cinema length documentary that explores the life of Australia's most prolific costume designer Orry-Kelly. During the boom years of Hollywood as Head of Warner Brothers Costume Department he was the costume designer on an astonishing 282 motion pictures, wining him 3 Academy Awards. He designed for the stars like Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, Rosalind Russell, Errol Flynn to name a few.
Fearless, funny and outspoken, Orry-Kelly lived life to the full.
