Join Women in Cafes & Restaurants for an intimate International Women’s Day gathering designed to inspire connection, conversation and clarity within the hospitality industry.
Aligned with the 2026 UN theme Balance the Scales, the morning will feature three accomplished speakers sharing thoughtful insights on leadership, financial confidence and mental wellbeing, followed by a curated panel discussion. Set within the elegant surrounds of Ormeggio, the experience continues with a relaxed lunch at Chiosco, offering space to connect with like-minded women.
This event is an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day grind, gain perspective and be part of a community committed to supporting women and shaping a more balanced future for hospitality.

Laura is a hospitality leader and advocate for people-first leadership. As Co-Owner and COO of Hurricane’s Grill and founder of Women in Cafes and Restaurants, she is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive workplaces. A proud ambassador for The Burnt Chef Project, Laura champions mental health, mentorship and the empowerment of women across hospitality.
