Uma Patel - News Lab Lead, Australia & New Zealand, Google + Partner, Women In Media Relaunch Project
At Google, Uma works alongside academics, newsrooms, nonprofits and community groups around Australia and New Zealand with the focus on tackling misinformation, growing diversity within the industry and supporting digital transformation for journalists.
Women in Media and the Google News Initiative have joined forces for the Relaunch Project. It is an exclusive series of workshops, mentoring sessions and online training aimed to develop the skills of talented women in media to empower them to successfully return to the workforce

With a 30+ year career spanning much of the television industry, most recently overseeing the entire slate of Warner Brothers entertainment shows, such as The Bachelor franchise, Celebrity Apprentice, The Masked Singer and Fboy Island, Caroline Swift (aka Spence) is only too happy to discuss this year's IWD theme of Cracking the Code: Innovation for a gender-equal future.

After her impressive talk and negotiation workshops at the Women In Media National Conference, Strategic Deals Negotiator Sam Trattles wants to change the way we feel and think about negotiations.
