Women in Poultry Production

We’re excited to announce our final Women in Poultry Production workshop of 2026, taking place on Thursday 8 October, 6–9pm at Hartpury University’s Agri-Tech Building.

We’re delighted to welcome two experts at the heart of poultry policy

🎤 Máire Burnett, Technical Director at the British Poultry Council
🎤 Birthe Steenburg, Secretary General at AVEC

This promises to be a fantastic evening exploring the policy challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of the poultry sector.

There will be plenty of opportunity to hear from our speakers, ask questions and connect with fellow WPP members.

For WPP members:
• 🎟️ Attendance is free, with food included
• 👥 50 in-person spaces are available on a first come, first served basis
• 💻 A live Microsoft Teams feed will also be available for those unable to attend in person
• 🚗 Members travelling more than two hours may be eligible for partial support towards travel or an overnight stay
