Famed for her highly successful café on the Mornington Peninsula, in 2018 Celeste made the move to social enterprise and became our Social Enterprise Leader. Responsible for the development and implementation of Youth Projects social enterprise operations across Melbourne which have grown from one to three cafés over the past 12 months.  Karen Porter - Co-Founder of Moreland Star a issues and information sharing portal launched on Facebook at the end of 2020, this venture is 100% volunteer driven and arose out of discussions about the absence of a local single platform to connect communities within Moreland on topical issues and concerns.
A rare opportunity to find out more about social enterprises and ethical business and the amazing women that run them. An opportunity to find out what keeps a community running, keeping is sustainable and the people that keep their communities together. Celebrate International Women’s Day and #ChooseToChallenge.
