WOMEN IN THE WILD 🌿

A free monthly gathering for women to come together, get into nature, and be in community.

I’ve been craving this for a while now...A space where women can come together in nature, sit around a fire, swim in the creek, share food, sing songs, make music, tell stories, laugh, listen, and just be together.

Not another space where we need to learn something, fix something, improve ourselves or become some better version of who we already are.

Just a space to be women together.

To be seen, witnessed, heard & held

To have somewhere to bring what’s actually alive in us.

I’ve been feeling such a deep longing for more of this in my own life - more community, more sisterhood, more connection between women...and I have a feeling I’m not the only one.

So rather than waiting for it to appear- I’m creating it.

Women in the Wild is my offering of a space to gather once a month and see what becomes possible when we come together.

Each month, we’ll have a different theme to gently guide our time together. There’ll be space to share, to listen, to speak, to sing, to move, to reflect, and to simply be witnessed by other women.

And I really want this to be a space where women of all ages are welcome.

I want to hear from the young women, mothers & elders
I want to hear from the women who have lived many lives already.

There is so much wisdom held between us when we actually make space to hear one another.

Every month we'll journey with a theme...

🌹 OCTOBER - DESIRE

For our first gathering, we’re exploring desire.

We’re gathering during Venus retrograde in Scorpio, which feels like a beautiful time to turn inward and get curious about the deeper layers of our desire - the things that stir us, awaken us, excite us, and perhaps even scare us a little.

What do you actually want?

What desires have you been afraid to admit to yourself?

Where have you learnt to override your own wanting?

And what might happen if you let yourself listen a little more deeply?

There’s no right answer here. And you don’t need to have anything figured out.

We’ll simply come together and see what wants to be spoken.

And yes, there will be singing and music!! 🎶I love singing with women- it's such a beautiful thing to do

Please bring an instrument if you have one- bring a song and your voice

You do not need to be a good singer. I’m very much practising this myself - letting myself use my voice more freely, and discovering how fucking liberating it can be to just make sound and be heard.

Bring a story, a song, a piece of wisdom.
Bring something you’d like to offer to the earth.
Or just bring yourself.

My prayer for this space is simple:

That we remember how beautiful it is to be in community with women

To sit beside other women without needing to be anything other than ourselves.

To share our stories.
To hear each other.
To sing.
To laugh.
To cry.
To eat.

To swim
To be witnessed.

To come home to ourselves- no fixing or changing

Please note: This is an outdoor gathering in nature. Please come prepared for the conditions, wear footwear you're comfortable walking in, and bring anything you need to stay comfortable and safe. You are welcome to participate in whatever way feels right for your body.

Location of the event will be held at a waterfall close to Yandina- please register so you'll receive the address upon registration.
